    How do I reserve a parking space?

    Enter the desired parking period in our booking engine and we will check for you whether a parking space is available. In the next step, select an available parking space from the hit list and follow the further instructions in the booking process.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
    Please note that your chosen parking start time is at least 24 hours in the future (advance booking period = 24 hours) and your booking period is at least 4 hours. Please also note that you can book a parking space with us up to a maximum of 6 months in advance.

    There is an immediate reservation fee of EUR 3.00 for your reservation. This includes the provision of your parking space, as well as the possibility to rebook (once) free of charge.

    At what point do I have to pay?

    A reservation fee of EUR 3.00 is charged at the time of booking and must be paid immediately. The actual parking price is to be paid upon exit. This price may differ from the price stated at the time of booking, depending on the actual duration of the parking period.

     

    How can I pay for the online reservation?

    Payment of the reservation is possible by credit card, Paypal or iDEAL. According to the selected payment method, the payment method information is required.

     

    What happens to the reservation fee if I do not make the trip?

    The reservation fee is charged when the parking space is booked. In the event that you do not make your journey or are unable to take up the offer, the reservation fee will not be refunded.

     

    Do I have to reserve a specific spot?

    No. You reserve an arbitrary parking space in the parking garage or car park of your choice. We will guarantee that the parking garage or car park has an available parking space held for you.

    Do I have to enter at the exact time specified in the reservation?

    Of course, you do not have to enter the car park at the exact time stated in the reservation, but in order to be able to plan our shuttle times optimally for you, we would like to ask you to enter the car park as close as possible to the entry time stated in the reservation. This will enable us to provide you with the best possible service.

    Will I receive confirmation of my reservation?

    Yes, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and a QR code for entry.

    I didn’t receive a reservation! Who can help me?

    Please first check the spam folder in your e-mails. The e-mail with the reservation confirmation may have been automatically moved to this folder. If this is not the case, please send an e-mail to <link>service@parkvogel.de with the reservation number and the e-mail address given in the booking. If you do not know your reservation number, please give your first and last name, booking period and the booked parking facility.

    I do not have a “German” debit card. Can I pay upon exiting with any debit card?

    Yes, you will receive a parking ticket upon entering once you have scanned the QR code. Before picking up your car, simply pay the parking fees by debit or credit card at the automatic pay station. Of course you can also pay in cash, no problem at all!

    Why is it important that I specify the times and flight number?

    Our service offer at the PSD BANK Dome includes providing you with our shuttle service as promptly as possible. We would like to provide the best support even for delayed arrivals from your holiday travels. To do so, we require these details.

    What happens to my information?

    Your information will only be used to process your reservation request and the subsequent parking procedure.

    How can I rebook or cancel?

    Please select either "Rebook" or "Cancel" in the menu item "Services" and enter your booking number and your e-mail address. One rebooking as well as one cancellation are possible free of charge. You can cancel or rebook up to 12 hours before your reserved entry time.

    Please note that rebooking and cancellation are only possible via the website. Rebooking and cancellations are not possible via the telephone hotline.

    What do I need to enter and exit the car park?

    After booking successfully online, you will receive a booking confirmation via e-mail. This contains a QR code, which you are to hold under the QR code reader at the entrance gate. Then the gate machine will issue a parking ticket and the gate will open. Before exiting, please insert the parking ticket at the ticket machines. The parking fees incurred can be paid by debit card, credit card or in cash.

    How do I park my vehicle?

    There is a Parkvogel employee at the PSD BANK Dome who will exchange your QR code for a parking ticket, or you will hold the QR code in front of the scanner at the entrance gate and receive a parking ticket automatically.

    Can I enter the car park before the specified time or exit after the specified time?

    You can drive into our car parks up to a maximum of 4 hours before and up to 4 hours after the entry time given by you, even if the display says “Bezetzt - Full". After these 4 hours, your reservation expires. Later exits are always possible. However, exceeding the booked maximum parking time may result in a higher fare for the extra time.     How do I get to the airport from the parking garage PSD BANK DOME?

    Our shuttle service will take you safely to the terminal and of course pick you up again. The shuttle bus stop is located directly in front of the multi-storey car park. The shuttle service is free of charge for you, the journey time is 9 minutes. All passengers with a valid reservation confirmation will be transported by our shuttle service within the specified entry and exit times. Of course, all passengers of the last flight landing in Düsseldorf will still be picked up - no matter how late the plane lands.

    I would like to use the shuttle service. What if I arrive later than anticipated?

    No problem! If you do not reach the planned shuttle in time, you may of course just take the next one.

    I would like to use the shuttle service. What if more people come along than the number of travellers specified in the booking?

    No problem! We will of course transport all travel guests. Nevertheless, please make sure to specify the correct number of expected travellers when booking. This facilitates our planning.

    Are children seats available in the shuttle transfer for my kids to get to the airport safely?

    In the minivans used by us for transfers, we provide free child car seats, which are approved from a minimum weight of 15kg. Children weighing less than 15kg must be secured by a weight-matching safety system (infant carrier, child seat). This must be provided by the parents/escorts. The car park operator is not obliged to bring these child seats.

    How much luggage can I bring along? And what about oversize luggage?

    Of course, we will transport your luggage with our shuttle bus from the parking garage to the terminal and back again. This applies to the usual extent and for the number of persons stated in the booking ("number of travellers").

    The transport of bulky luggage (such as surfboards, bicycle cases, golf bags or similar) cannot be guaranteed. Please hand in your bulky luggage at the bulky luggage counter in the terminal before parking.

    Do I need an environmental badge (an emissions sticker) to access the PSD BANK DOME?

    If you are travelling from outside of the city area via the A52 directly to the PSD BANK DOME, you do not need an environmental badge. Additional information on the environmental badge and options for obtaining it can be found here.

    Is my car in good hands?

    Yes. Our car park is under video surveillance and is staffed. Since you don’t hand over your key, your vehicle will naturally remain in the space where you parked it.

    I am having a problem on site at the parking facility. Who can help me?

    All gate systems and parking machines have a call button with an intercom function. This way an employee is available 24 hours a day for your questions. If your car will not start after it has been parked for a long time, our colleagues on site will be happy to get your car started.

    Sorry, this product cannot be cancelled online. To cancel, please write an email to service(at)parkvogel.de with your reservation number and the email address you used when booking. You can cancel up to 12 hours before your reserved entry time.

    When cancelling the booking, the booking number is not found?

    Please note that when you copy and paste the booking number, there is no space copied with it. If you still encounter any problems, please contact service(at)parkvogel.de .

    What do I need to enter and exit the car park?

    After successful online booking, you will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail. When entering the car park, please show this entry permit to our local staff, when asked. On this confirmation you will find a voucher which you put in the windshield of your car. Please not the special instructions on the voucher!

    Can I enter the parking facility before the specific time or exit after the specific time?

    You can drive into our parking facilities up to a maximum of 4 hours before and up to 4 hours after the entry time given by you, even if the display says “Bezetzt - Full". After these 4 hours, your reservation expires. Later exits are always possible. However, exceeding the booked maximum parking time may result in a higher fare for the extra time.     How do I get to the airport from P2, P4 or P5?

    The parking garage P2 is located directly (2 minutes' walk) at the terminal.

    The parking garages P4 and P5 are directly connected to the terminal via the SkyTrain. You will reach the terminal in approximately two minutes – and return to your car in the same time. Your parking ticket or the booking confirmation of the parking space is recognised as a ticket. The SkyTrain stops in both terminal areas A/B and C and runs every 3.5-7 minutes. Please note: it is not possible to take trolleys onto the SkyTrain.

    I want to use the SkyTrain. What happens if I arrive later than planned?

    No problem! If you miss one of the scheduled SkyTrain times, you can take the next one. Please find further information about the SkyTrain timetable here.

    Why do I receive an e-mail two days before starting time of parking?

    If you have reserved a parking space at PARKVOGEL, you will receive a notification by e-mail with the most important information regarding your reservation 2 days prior to your parking entrance date. This e-mail does not contain any advertising and is only used to inform you about your upcoming booking at PARKVOGEL. Of course you can unsubscribe this e-mail at any time. Simply click on the unsubscribe link at the end of the e-mail.

    Do I need an environmental badge (i.e. Feinstaubplakette) to reach the car parks?

    If you travel from out of town via the motorway A44, there is no need for the environmental badge. More information regarding the environmental badge and zone can be found here.

     

    Is my car in safe hands?

    Yes, the car parks have video surveillance for the most part and are controlled by staff. As you do not hand in your key, your vehicle will of course remain in the place where you parked it.

    I have a problem at the parking space on site. Who can help?

    All parking barriers and all automatic pay stations are equipped with a call button. Use this button to speak to our staff who will answer your questions 24 hours seven days a week. If your car does not start (low battery), the parking staff will help you to get a jump start.

    My return flight dates have changed. How can I communicate this information?

    You pay your parking fee at the time of your return at the automatic pay station. Therefore, you do not have to provide any information regarding a changed return time.

    I lost my ticket. What do I have to do?

    Please proceed to the Parking Information Center (i.e. Parkleitzentrale) and show your reservation and the boarding pass of your flight. The Parking Information Center of Düsseldorf Airport is located on the Arrivals level in the multi-storey car park P3, across the road when exiting the Arrivals area of Terminal B (same way to the Sheraton Hotel).

    Car Park P23 is an eight/8-minute walk from the Düsseldorf Airport Terminal. Therefore, the check-in counters are within easy walking distance.

  • Customer account

    Why is creating an account wise?

    With your account you can easily view your bookings at a glance. You have the option to change or even cancel your booking. You also do not have to enter your personal details again in a future booking.

    Can I delete my account again?

    Yes, you can easily delete your customer account at any time. To do so, log in to your customer account and click on "Delete customer account". You can do this both via the website and the app.

    The code of my activation e-mail has expired / I have not received any activation e-mail. What can I do?

    If you have not received an activation e-mail, first check your spam folder. If the mail can not be found here, you can have it sent again via the Account page.

    If the activation period of 48 hours has passed, you can request to re-send a new activation e-mail.

     

    I reserved a parking space before I created my customer account. Is it still possible to add this booking to my account?

    Unfortunately, we cannot add bookings made before the creation of a Parkvogel customer account to the Parkvogel customer account or the Parkvogel app. In order for your bookings to be displayed in your customer account or Parkvogel app, you must ensure that you are logged into your customer account during the booking process. If you log in to the Parkvogel app with your customer account login data, all bookings made up to that point will also be displayed here. It does not matter if they are booked through our website or the Parkvogel app. It is only important that you were logged into your customer account during the booking.

    What can I do with the Parkvogel app?

    The Parkvogel app offers you useful tools to make the process of departure and arrival to the parking lot easy. For example, you can reserve your parking space in just 4 steps via the app and you can see all the bookings made at a glance. You can also find all details about our parking garages in the app, for example the price and location. The Parkvogel assistant guides you through the parking process, to save you from stress. For more information about the Parkvogel assistant, please refer to the following question.

    NOTE:

    The use of the Parkvogel app for P5 and P23 is currently not possible for technical reasons. We are working on it!

    What is the Parkvogel assistant?

    The Parkvogel assistant guides you through your entire parking process.

    The assistant will navigate you to the parking garage, provides entrance information and stores your parking position (if desired). It continues at the airport; the assistant indicates the check-in location and the gate number. Relaxed on vacation and relaxed back home. The assistant also shows you the number of the baggage claim and gives you information about the payment options of the parking garage and the exit options.

    This ensures that your entire arrival and departure runs smoothly!

    Do I need an account for the Parkvogel app?

    Yes, if you want to use the Parkvogel app with all its advantages, you need an account. You do not need an account if you only want more information about our rates and our parking garages.

    To create an account, click the button in the lower right corner "Profile". Then click on Register and follow the instructions.

    Can I delete my account via the Parkvogel app?

    Yes, you can easily delete your customer account at any time. To do so, log in to your customer account and click on "Delete customer account". You can do this both via the website and the app.
